Embracing a New Beginnings as a College Student in New York City

Introduction: Embracing a New Chapter

Photography is my passion, but more than that, it is a dream career. I hope to continue my work at the next level and eventually end up working in photography after college. Since enrolling in New York University, I have been both excited and nervous for the days ahead. It hold excitement for the where it will take me, the friends I will make, the jobs I may get, however with the positive comes the negative. The anticipation of failure, being in a big city as opposed to the small town I am used to. With this, the lessons I will learn will be priceless and full of knowledge.

The Energy of New York City

New York is nothing short of a big city full of chaos, noise, and lots of traffic, which in turn means it is also a city full of life, passion, community, diversity, and opportunity. It is a place where creativity is endless and a hub for different cultures. Although navigating the city can be overwhelming, there is never a dull moment. It is inspiring to see so much happening around me everyday.

Photography and Looking Ahead

My goals are to immerse myself in the art of photography and strive towards my post college goals. The city and the professors here at NYU have much to offer and I am excited to learn as much as possible and working as hard as possible. I am driven and dedicated to my photos and creating the best experience for all of my clients, fellow photographer, and myself. I am excited for the future and happy to be where I am now.
